Quick Start
- Enter a Project Name in the field at the top of the upload screen (optional but recommended for exports).
- Select your source format — Navisworks is currently supported.
- Drag and drop your report file onto the drop zone, or click to browse. Accepted format:
.html or .htm (Navisworks HTML Tabular export).
- The dashboard builds automatically — no upload to a server, everything runs in your browser.
Supported File Formats
| Navisworks HTML (Tabular) | In Navisworks Manage: open Clash Detective → Write Report, set format to HTML (Tabular), then click Write Report. This exports all clashes with element details and comments in a single .html file. |
Only the Navisworks HTML (Tabular) format is supported. XML, CSV, and other source formats are planned for a future release.
Filters
- Use the Status, Test Group, and Assignee dropdowns at the top to narrow the data shown across all charts and tables.
- Each filter is multi-select — tick as many values as needed. A badge shows how many are active.
- The counter next to the filter bar shows how many clashes match the current filter vs the total.
- Click Clear All to reset all filters at once.
Dashboard Tabs
| Summary | KPI cards (Total, Open, Closed, % Open) plus a status distribution donut chart and status breakdown table. |
| Test Groups | Horizontal bar chart showing open vs closed per test group, sortable by Total / Open / % Open / A–Z. Includes a health score table. |
| Matrix | Discipline clash matrix — a heat map of open clashes between discipline pairs derived from test group names (e.g. "Arch vs Struct"). |
| Assignees | Workload bar chart per assignee plus a scorecard showing % resolved and average days to close. |
| Details | Full issue log table with all clashes. Click any row to view full clash details. Use the search box to find specific clashes, elements, or locations. |
Issue Log (Details Tab)
- Click any column header to sort the table ascending or descending.
- Use the search box to filter rows by clash name, element, location, description, or comment.
- Click any row to open the full clash detail panel — shows both clashing elements, their IDs, types, layers, and any comments.
- Results are paginated at 25 rows per page. Use the arrows at the bottom to navigate.
Exporting
| ↓ Excel | Downloads an .xlsx file with four sheets: Summary, All Clashes, Test Groups, and Configuration. Respects active filters. |
| ↓ PDF | Landscape A4 report with KPI summary, status breakdown, test group performance, and the full clash table. |
| ↓ Save HTML | Saves a fully interactive standalone .html file — open it offline in any browser. Charts, filters, and the issue log all remain functional. Share it with anyone without needing this tool. |
Export buttons are enabled once a report has been loaded. The saved HTML export is the recommended format for sharing with project teams.
